Near-Field Scattering Enhancement of Perylene Based Aggregates for Random Lasing

Abstract: Recently, random laser, as a new type of random laser, has become a research hotspot, due to simple structure, low cost and great application potential. Near-field scattering enhancement (NFSE) can be used to improve the scattering ability of weak scattering system, making it applicable to random lasing. Therefore, this thesis first studies the influence of NFSE of a kind of nano-particle, polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) on random lasing. It is found that strong NFSE exists in POSS NPs aggregates. Further studies conclusively showed that near-field scattering enhancement can promote the generation of random laser.
