On Validity of the Excess Entropy Production Criterion of Thermodynamic Stability of Nonequilibrium Steady States

摘要: 通过比较由热力学稳定性的超熵产生判据和由动力学线性稳定性分析得出的结论,分析了非平衡热力学稳定性的超熵产生判据的适用性,表明这一判据只有在动力学方程组的线性化矩阵满足某些对称条件的情况下才是正确的。

Abstract: By comparing the conclusions from excess entropy production criterion of thermodynamic stability with those from kinetic linearized stability analysis, the validity of thermodynamic stability criterion based on the excess entropy is analysed. It is shown that this stability criterinn is valid only when the linearized matrix of kinetic equations satisfies some symmetric conditions.
