Au在低温PVF衬底上的分形生长

Fractal Growth of An Films Deposited on Polgvinyl Formal Substrstes at Low Temperature

  • 摘要: 用透射电子显微镜研究了Au沉积在不同温度的聚乙烯醇缩甲醛(PolyvinylFormal, PVF)衬底上的显微结构.当衬底温度由高到低改变时,Au膜结构由紧密岛向分形渐变,在213~253K时生长的Au膜具有分形特征,用Sandbex方法测量了分维数.Au膜分维数随生长温度提高及膜厚增加而增大.在Au膜分形结构周围形成近似圆形空白区,这一现象说明岛(或团簇)具有一定的迁移率向大岛或分枝结构聚集.利用有边缘扩散的DLA模型及CCA模型讨论了实验结果。

     

    Abstract: The microstructures of An films deposital on polyvinyl formal (PVF) substrathe at various temperature have been investigated using TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope).Transition from compact islands to fractal structures has been observed when substratetemperature decreased. The films of An deposital on PVF at 213~253K show flactal characteristic. The fractal dimension was measured using the Sandbox method. The fractal dimensions increase with increasing film thickness and raising substrate temperature. An empty areas, about a circle, was formed around the fractal sstucture of Au films. This phenomenon show that islands or clusters can be mobile. They aggregated to large islands or ramified stures. The experimental results have been discussed by using the models of DLA (Diffusion-Aggregation) with active adge diffusion and CCA (Cluster-Cluster-Aggregation).
