新型高性能激光光声光谱球形光声池:理论和实验研究

A New Type High Quality Spherical Photoacoustic Cell for Laser Photoacoustic Spectroscopy

  • 摘要: 从理论上讨论了球形光声池共振模式的声学特性,计算表明,与常用的圆柱形光声池比较,球形光声池具有更高的Q值;利用球形光声池和钛宝石激光器构成的光声光谱仪,从实验上测量了球形光声池的共振模式,与理论计算结果一致;该球形光声池的声学Q值达到590,明显高于圆柱形池的结果;利用该装置成功的记录了C2H2 12750cm-1附近的一段弱谱带,与本实验室高灵敏的激光腔内吸收光谱仪(ICLAS)得到的结果相比,具有更高的分辩率和更好的信噪比,探测灵敏度达到610×10-8cm-1(1:1信噪比)。

     

    Abstract: At first we carried out the theoretical study of the acoustic characters of a spherical photoacoustic cell,the calculation shows that the spherical cell has a high Q quantity over the commonly used cylinder shape cell.Then we constructed a high resolution laser photoacoustic spectrometer with a spherical shape photoacoustic cell and Ti:sapphire laser and measured the acoustic modes in the spherical shape cell,the experimental results is in accordance with the theoretical results.The Q quantity of the first radial mode of the spherical cell attains 590,which is much better than that of the cylinder shape cell in ref..With this spectrometer measured the weak spectrum of acetylene near 12750cm-1,the comparison with the result of the Intra-Cavity Laser Absorption Spectrometer(ICLAS)in our laboratory shows that get better resolution and better signal to noise ratio(SNR),the detection sensitivity of this spectrometer is estimated to be 6×10-8cm-1(1:1 SNR).
