摘要: 用线偏振的脉冲激光泵浦的Sr(5p1P1,M=0)原子,在束气条件下,与Ar原子碰撞而发生P轨道角动量的跃迁。在不同的氩气压力下,通过检测Sr原子荧光在水平和垂直方向上的偏振分量随时间的变化,确定了去偏振速率常数kp=2.5±0.5×10-9cm3mol-1s-1。由此推导出角动量碰撞跃迁的截面为σT=2nm2,如此之大的跃迁截面归结为Sr(5p1P1)和Ar之间的长程相互作用。Abstract: The collision induced angular momentum transitions of Sr(5p1P1) from Ml=0 to Ml=±1 with Ar as collision partner is carried out in a beam-gas reaction apparatus. The depolarization rate constant kp=2.5±0.5×10-9 cm3mol-1s-1 is obtained, and the angular momentum tramsition cross section σT=2nm2 deduced from depolarization rate constant. The large cross section is attribute to long range interaction between Sr(5p1P1) and Ar.
