The Investigations of Lamellar Liquid Crystal of Sodium Caprylate, 1,8-Octane Diol and Water With Low Angle X-ray Diffraction

The measurements of low angle X-ray diffraction show that lamellar liquid cryatal of sodium caprylate, 1,8—octane diol and water have double amphiphile layers structure. The penetration of solvent is more than 80% and decreases slightly with the increasing weight ratio of sodium caprylate to octane diol.
