Theoretical Study of Ba+BrCH3 Reaction Collision

Abstract
The dynamics of the Ba+BrCH3 reactive callision has been studied by the quasitriatomic approximation and the semi-empirical LEPS potential energy surface. We obtained the lifetime of the complex or reaction collision to be nearly 1 ps. It concluded that the reaction probability decrcases slowly as collision energy increases, it is consistent with the molecular beam experiments. Furthermore, the vibrotahonal state distributions or the BaBr products obtained arc all non-linear surprising.
