Holographic Studies of Solution Diffusion

The problems of solution diffusion are studied in detail by holography based on the diffusion mechanism and experimental technique. The essential conditions for the measurements of diffusion coefficient accurately are also presented. The diffusion process for KDP—H₂O system and the influences of different concentrations and concentration gradients have been studied by using real-time and double-exposure holography with introducing of reference fringe system.The diffusion coefficients of KDP and sucrose solution were measured and compared with that of other methods.
