Laser-induced Localized Molecular Vibration and Its Application in Controlling Chemical Reaction
-
Abstract
In this paper, we further illustrate the idea of induced molecular local mode vibration by lasers, and taking XY2 type molecules as example, we have discussed the properties of this induced localized vibrational state. To give its significance in controlling chemical reactions, we’ve analyzed its proper usage in the model of double A Raman excitation system. Also, its relationship with other methods of coherent control of reaction is discussed.
