  • This paper mainly carries out a combined theoretical and experimental research of the property of ER damper as bumper in large force impact. Experiments show that the ER damper has little effect in large force impact using current ERF, and theoretical analysis also prove the conclusion. The main reasons and the further measures in order to improve the situation are discussed in detail.

Abstract: This paper mainly carries out a combined theoretical and experimental research of the property of ER damper as bumper in large force impact. Experiments show that the ER damper has little effect in large force impact using current ERF, and theoretical analysis also prove the conclusion.
