Abstract: An electron diffraction investigation of 1,1,2,2-Tetrachloroethane molecular structure,composition, Anti-Gauche energy and entropy differences and potential barrier of hindering internal rotation was carried out. The results are consistent with other conclusions obtained by various techniques and theoretical calculation.It settles the controversy of the two different conclusions from the two old electron diffraction investigations.
