Abstract: Kinetic data of toluene alkalation with methenol over HZSM5 were measured on a fixed bed downflow microreactor. The yields and selectivities of products were simulated by semi-emperical kinetic models. The shape—selectivity was also discussed on the level of apparent reation rates.
