Characterization of Nonionic Water-soluble Phosphine Rhodium Complexes Catalyst by XPS

The composition of nonionic water-soluble phosphine rhodium complexes RhCl₃/TPPP has been characterized,by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.Every elemental peak in the ligand TPPP and the complexes RhCl₃/TPPP catalyst have been measured mathematically by means of the curve fitting technique.It was found that the ligand Rh-CO and Rh-P present in the complexes as compared with the ligand TPPP.The synthesized RhCl₃/TPPP complex formula ClRh（CO）_n（TPPP）_m was also deduced.
