Penning Ionization Processes of CS2 at collion with He(23S), Ne(3P0,2)

Abstract
Emission spectra of \tildeA_2 \Pi_u-\tildeX^2 \Pi_s and \tildeB^2 \Sigma_u^+-\tildeX^2 \Pi_s systems of \mathrmCS_2^+, following \mathrmHe\left(2^3 S\right) Penning ionization of \mathrmCS_2 at single collision condition, have been analyzed to determine the nascent vibrational distributions of \mathrmCS_2^+\left(\tildeA^2 \Pi_u\right) and \mathrmCS_2^+\left(\tildeB^2 \Sigma_u^+\right)states. These results are all significantly different from thd PES data. The non Franck-Condon behaviors for formation of \mathrmCS_2^+(\tildeA) and \mathrmCS_2^+(\tildeB) are discussed. The nascent vibrational distributions of \mathrmCS_2^+(\tildeB) state obtained from \mathrmNe\left( ^3 P_0,2\right) Penning ionization of \mathrmCS_2 are also presented. The absolute formation rates of \mathrmCS_2^+(\tildeA, \tildeB), following \mathrmHe\left(2^3 S\right) Penning ionization of \mathrmCS_2 are given as K_\mathrmCs_2^+(\pi)=2.7 \times 10^-12 \mathrm~cm^3 \cdot molec ^-1 \cdot \mathrm~s^-1, K_\mathrmcs_2^+(\tildeB)=3.8 \times 10^-12 \mathrm~cm^3 \cdot molec ^-1 \cdot \mathrm~s^-1.
