DSC Study of Phase Transitions of 8-Hydroxymethylcoumarin Derivatives
The phase transitions of six new 8-hydroxymethylcoumarin derivatives were studied by differential scanning calorimetry. Two endothermic peaks were observed on the thermograms of DSC for two of these compounds, and only one endothermic peak was observed for the others. The temperatures, enthalpies and entropies of the phase transitions of these compounds were obtained.
