DSC Study of Phase Transitions of Ferrocenylpolythia(oxa)-Crown Ethers

Abstract
The phase transitions of six new ferrocenylpolythia(oxa)-crown ethers(Ⅰ-Ⅵ) were studied by differential scanning calorimetry. The thermograms and thermodynamic parameters of phase transitions of these compounds were obtained. A single-melting peak was observed on the thermogram for the compounds Ⅰ-Ⅴ, and there is a good correlation between the melting point heat of fusion for these compounds and their molecular structures. However, a multi-melting peak was observed on the thermogram for compound Ⅵ.
