Studies on Plannar Orientation and Trap Depth of PET Film
PET films with various degree of plannar orientation were prepared by the stretching uniaxially and biaxially. FTIR spectra study indicates that the content of gauche conformation decreased linearly with the degree of plannar orientation, while one of trans conformation increased, linearly. A linear relationship between the mean trap depth calculated from TSC spectra and degree of plannar orientation has been observed.
