    The Separation of Paramagnetic Shifts and Conformation Studies of Aqueous Ln3+—Niacin Solutions

    • The conformation of lanthanide complexes with nicotinic acid in aqueous solution has been studied by the paramagnetic induced shifts of NMR. The shifts induced by paramagnetie lanthanide ions have been able to be separated into the contact and pseudocontact ones with the equations given by Golding and Bleaney. The factors about the conformation, r and θ in the coordination system, was obtained through some computer programs.
