Energy Transfer Reaction of Metastable Atoms to CS2:Vibrational Distribution and Vibrational Relaxation of Product CS(A)

Abstract
Using discharge-flowing afterglow method, We have studied energy transfer reactions of metastable rare gas atoms, He(3S)、Ne(3P2,0)、Ar(3P2,0) to CS2 molecule, and measured the nascent vibrational distribution of the product CS(A1Π). It is confirmed by "surprise" analysis that vibrational population of product is inverse partially. We calculated the V-T and V-V energy transfer rates of CS(A1Π,v’)in collision with He、Ar under the stationary condition.
