Energy Transfer Reaction of Metastable Atoms to CS₂:Vibrational Distribution and Vibrational Relaxation of Product CS（A）

Using discharge-flowing afterglow method, We have studied energy transfer reactions of metastable rare gas atoms, He（³S）、Ne(³P_2,0)、Ar(³P_2,0) to CS₂ molecule, and measured the nascent vibrational distribution of the product CS（A¹Π）. It is confirmed by "surprise" analysis that vibrational population of product is inverse partially. We calculated the V-T and V-V energy transfer rates of CS（A¹Π,v’）in collision with He、Ar under the stationary condition.
