    Study on the Structure and properties of Silver Halide Emulsion Microcrystals Ⅰ: Iodide Content and Photo-conductivity of Polydispersed Emulsion

    • The emulsion of silver bromide containing varying amount of iodide impurities has received considerable attention recently. In present paper the dependence of iodide content on the photoconductivity was studied with a microwave photoconductivity technique. It was shown that during the exposure the photoconductivity was decreased strongly with the increase of the iodide content, reaching a minimum at the point of 8 mol% , then a slight increase in the range from 8-15 mol%. This result is the important significance in correct exploiting and understanding the potential development of the emulsion prepared by single jet method.
