The Syntheses and Studies on the Nonlinear Optical Properties of Methylsulfonyl Substituted Stilbene Derivatives
-
Abstract
The microscopic second-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities of methylsulfonyl substituted stilbene derivatives were calculated with nonlinear optical active group theory. The studies on the powder second harmonic generation(SHG) effects and spectroscopic properties revealed that some of these compounds had more intensive powder efficiency of SHG than inorganic crystals and the transparency and crystallinity were superior to other nonlinear optical stilbene derivatives.
