Abstract
The equation of local composition is given based on the model of statistical thermodynamics, Combining it with the theory of reaction rates, new viscosity equation of liquid mixtures is established: \ln \eta V=\sum_i=1^n x_i \ln \eta_i V_i-\sum_i=1^n q_i n_i x_i \sum_j=1^n \theta_j i \ln \tau_j i This equation is applied for correlation of more than thirty binary systems and prediction of more than ten systems. The results show that the equation is of good applicability and reliability.
