Study of Carbonization Mechanism of Polyacrylonitrible Base Carbon Fiber by FTIR-PAS
-
Abstract
The polyacrylonitrile base carbon fiber carborization process has been studied by using Fourier Transform Infrared-Photoacustic Spectroscopy (FTIR-PAS). The polcarylonitrile fiber undergoes dis-hydrogen, dis-nitrogen and eliminates cyanogen group with increasing the temperature of pre-oxidization and carbonization. The product shows higher heat-acoustic transform efficiency than graphite.
