The IR and Raman spectra of solid compounds LiAl2（OH）7·2H2O and K2（HO）3Al—O—Al（OH）3 deposited from aluminate solutions have been measured and discussed, in order to provide some information about the composition and structure of aluminate anions in aluminate solutions.
