Determination of Molecular Orientation of Phthalocyanine Derivative in LB Film by Polarized UV-Vis Spectra
LB films of copper (mono-p-carboxyl phnoxy)-tri-(2,4-ditert-amyl phenoxy) phthalocyanine (abbriviated as asyCuPc hereafter) have been prepared and polarized UV-Vis spectra are observed to identify the associated forms of the compound in chloroform solution and the particular orientation of asyCuPc molecular macrocycles in LB films.
