Abstract
The hyperfine interaction of metal coordination compounds with arbitrary symmetry G2 and arbitrary electron configuration lN involving quasi-atomic shells is treated according to a generalized weak-field model in ligand field theory. The matrix elements of the hyperfine operator and its spin-Hamiltonian of magnetic-dipole type are formulated by use of the Wigner-Racah algebra for a chain of compact groups SU(2)⊃G1⊃G2. And the theoretical formulae of hyperfine coupling constant A are given.
