    The Influence of the Shock Wave for MgO Crystal Structure, Characteristics of The Surface and Catalytic properies

    • By using the technique of XRD, ESR and TPD, it was found that the particle size of MgO Crystal treacted by shock wave is smaller and ε1/2D value higher than that of the untreated MgO and F colour centers are formed on crystal MgO. The results of oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane showed that the crystal MgO treated by shock wave exhibits higher conversion of ethane and selectivity of ethylene due to stronger basicity. Plausible structure change of crystal MgO treated and its catalytic mechanism were proposed.
