    Fluorescence Studies of Photolytic Products of Benzophenone During the Photoinitiated Crosslinking of Polyethylene and its Model Compounds

    • Photolytic product of benzophenone (BP) during the photoinitiated crosslinking of polyethylene and its model compounds has been detected and identified for the first time by the fluorescence spec-troscopy. The results showed that main product of BP photoreduction is benzopinacol, which provides new experimental evidence for elucidating the mechanism of the photoinitiated crosslinking of polyethylene.
