Experimental Study of Infra-red Multiphoton Dissociation of CHClF₂ Molecules

The IR multiphoton dissociation process of CHClF₂ molecules is studied experimentally in 9R banch of CO₂ laser. It is found that the spectrum of the dissociation yield of ¹²CHClF₂ molecules has multiple peaks. It is observed that the red shift of the spectrum of the dissociation yield of ¹³CHClF₂ molecules in natural abundance is 6cm^-1 at 0.69J/cm² fluence and 5 torr pressure. There is a peak on the curve of ¹³C isotope selectivity vs laser frequency. The peak is greater than 10.
