The Applications of Green Function Theory to NMR

The energy spectra of some interactions in NMR have been given by means of Green function theory. The solutions are exact for quadrupolar and chemical shift interactions. The results for dipolar and indirect spin interactions are approximate but more accurate than those obtained by second order perturbation theory and first order averaging Hamiltonian theory.
