    The Nanometer(Li2SO41-x-(ZrO2x Solid Electrolyte Ceramics

    • The nanometer Li2SO4-ZrO2 ceramics with varying ZrO2 content have been prepared by mixing Zr(OH)4 gel and Li2SO4 solution. The average grain size of Li2SO4 and ZrO2 is 45nm and 27 nm separately. As a result of the grain nano-size, amounts of interface and surface structure are led into the composite ceramics, which made the Li2SO4 phase-transition temperature decreased greatly. We studied the effect of the ZrO2 content on the Li2SO4 phase-transition temperature, behavior and ionic conductivity. The nanometer ZrO2 made the Li2SO4 phase-transition temperature decreased by 140℃. The ionic conductivity is 0.2S/cm at 540℃ while the ZrO2 content is appropriate.
