Studies on the Products for the Reactions of the Xe（5p⁵6p） Atoms with Freons

Abstract

The strong fluorescence from product XeCl^* （B,C） was observed for the reactions of Xe（2p₅）, Xe（2p₆） atoms with CF₃C1, CF₂C1₂, CF₂HC1 and CF₂ClBr. The time resolved spectra in 200-380 nm and the rate constants for XeCl（B,C） formation have been measured.
