    Study of Thermalanalysis and Infrared Spectroscopy on Solid-Solid Phase Transition of Layer Structural Complexesn-C9H19NH32MCl4 with M=Cu、Mn、Zn、Co

    • The thermal stability and the solid-solid phase transition of the title complexes have been studied by DSC, TG and infrared spectroscopy. The influence of the centre metal ions on the thermal stability and the phase transitions has been discussed. The order of thermal stability is as follow:C9Co>C9Mn>C9Zn>C9Cu. The number and the peak temperature as well as order-disorder effect of total phase transition are related to the centre metal ions. The disorder effect of total phase transition of Zn group complexes is higher than that of Cu group complexes. The former presents all disorder at high temperature phase. The phase transition at 285K arises mainly from the change of the interaction and packing structure oF chains. The phase at high temperature corresponds to the state of "melting of chains".
