Oscillations and Chaos in the BZ Reactions of o-NH2C6H4COOH System——I、Experimental Results and Nonlinear Dynamics Analysis

Abstract
This paper studies the oscillating behaviors of o-NH2C6H4COOH BZ system in CSTR. The influence patterns of concentrations, flow rates of reactants and temperature on oscillating reactions without metal-ion catalysts are concluded. The non-periodic oscillations are obsevered in Mn2+ catalyzed system, refering to nonlinear dynamics theories, which have been definitively established as deterministic behaviors of reaction system. The double-period bifurcation also is found in the transition from periodic brhaviors to chaos. In addition, the fractal dimension in different conditions have been calcuated to indicate the infuences or reaction conditions on the fractal structure of system. and obtain some information about the model which can simulate the reaction system.
