Nucleation of Salt-hydrates as the Thermal Energy Storage Material
When salt-hydrates are used for thermal energy storage, there is problem of supercooling to be solved. Nucleation may occur when the crystallographic date of the nucleation catalyst and the salt-hydrate to be crystallized agree within 15%.
