Investigation of Relationship of Niobium Oxides Structure and Acidity
Three order niobium oxide surface were prepered by different mothods:1.NbO structure.2.NbO4 tetrahedral structure.3.NbO6 octahedral structure.The relaction of niobium oxide surface structures and acidity had been investigated by HREELS,AES,UPS and ISS.Methanol dissociatively adsorbed on the NbO and NbO4 surface,but only the molecular adsorption of methanol was observed on NbO6 surface.
