Irradiation-Oxidation and Kinetics of Ionization of Polypropylene

Accumulation and relaxation of volume charges of α-crystalline polypropylene （PP） films treated by electron beam and/or modified by γ-irradiation have been detected by means of the a-coustic method. The irradiation-oxidation provides with deeper structural trap levels. The coincidence of kinetics of charge relaxation with the annihilation of radicals in PP γ-irradiated has been observed.
