    The Kinetic Study of Energy Transfer Reaction He(23S)+CH2Cl2 in a Beam-Gas Condition

    • The reaction or H2Cl2 by collission with He(23S) has been studied in beam-gas conditions. The emissions of CH(A2Δ-X3Π, B2Σ--X2Π, i>C2Σ+-X2Π) and H* (Balmer line) were observed. The nascent vibrational distribution ofCH(A) from He(23S)/CH2Cl2 was determinedto be N0:N1:N2=100:40±5:19±2. The rotational distribution were expressed by 3300 ± 300(N'> 8), 2800 ± 500K, and 1900 ± 500K for v'=0,1,2 of CH(A) and 3300 ± 400K for v'=0 ofCH(B). The rotational temperature is lower (2000 ± 200K) at N'<8 of CH(A,v'=0). The double Boltzmann distribution of CH(A) is not due to collision rclaxation. The formation rate constants of CH(A,B,C), CCl(A) and H*from He(23S)/CH2Cl2 reaction were determined. The mechanism of above reaction were also disscused.
