The Vibrational Coupling of Adsorbate Molecules on Solid Surface-Studies on fcc Adsorbate System

A new method is developed to study the vibrational coupliny of adsorbate molecules with a 2D fcc structure. This method can be used to determine the force constant of adsorbate molecule itself and the interaction force constants between adsorbate molecules with the help of the IRAS, EELS and LEED experimental data of adsorbate. The vibrational coupling effcts of CO molecules on Cu（111） face with (\sqrt3 \times \sqrt3) R 30^\circ structure are discussed in detail.
