    Study on the Structure and Properties of Silver Halide Emulsion Microcrystals Ⅺ.The Electric Properties of Tabular Emulsion Microcrystals with Different Aspect Ratio

    • The aspect ratio of tabular emulsion microcrystals has a great influence on their sensitometric property, Present study prepared 3 tabular emulsions with different aspect ratio. The dielectric loss and the microwave photoconductivity methods were used to determine the ionic conductivity and the photo-electron decay kinetics of the emulsion microcrystals. The results indicate that the ionic conductivity increases, and the photoconductivity decrease with the rising of aspect ratio. A transition from the single stage decay scheme to the double stage scheme is observed for the decay kinetics of photoelectron when the aspect ratio changed from 14.0 to 4.1.
