A Comparative Study of the Stabilizing Capacity of Aminoacids with Different Structures toward Ag42+ Cluster in Aqueous Solution
-
Abstract
The stabilization of four aminoacids methionine, glycine, glutamate and hydroxyproline, towards the oligomeric Ag42+ produce by UV illumination in aqueous solution, was study by UV-vis spectrum. It was find that the Ag42+ cluster can be stabilized by all the four aminoacids and methionine has the highest stabilization effect. The Ag42+ cluster produce faster at higher pH than that at lower pH. The Ag42+ cluster stabilized by methionine can surive for more than to days without changing. The Ag42+ cluster can also be stabilized by the gelatin.
