Determination For Brody-type Nearest Neighbor Spacing Distribution of Energy Spectra
-
Abstract
In the statistical analysis of energy level fluctuations, NNS distribution is one of the important characteristic measures. Its analysis together with determination and calculation usually is a puzzling procedure of approximate treatment. Based on the concept of energy level repulsion and the corresponding Brody model of energy spectra, an effective algorithm for identifing the Brody-type distribution and determining its characteristic parameter is suggested in this article. A series of calculational examples proves the advantage of this algorithm which is conducive to the standardization of the treatmental process of the spectra analysis.
