    Preparation of the Organized Nanowire Array of Nickel and Its Magnetization Hysteresis Loops

    • An organized nanowire array can be prepared by means of the template of porous alumina obtained from aluminum electrooxidation in an aqueous solution of 15% sulfuric acid.The army of Ni nanowires electro-deposited in the template is highly organized and arranged regularly. The measurements of magnetization hysteresis loops show that the nickel nanowire array, with the diameter of 10nm and the aspect ratio of 400, possesses the coercivity of 831Oe, in the direction perpendicular to the alumina surface (i.e. along the length of nickel nanowires),and the squareness of 0.91, characteristic of marked magnetic single-axis anisotropy and the property of single domain.
