    The Effect of ZrO2 on the Thermal Stabitity of CuO/γ-Al2O3 Catalyst

    • The effect of ZrO 2 additives on the thermal stabitity of CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst was studied. The XRD,BET surface area and ghe active surface of Cu were measured for the catalysts with variety of Zr/Cu ratio at calcination temperature 750℃ and 950℃ respectivly. The results indicated that the optinum ratio of Zr/Cu is 0.15~0.20.
      It was found that the resistant from γ-Al2O3 plase to α-Al2O3 phase, ghe resistance of sintering for active components and retardation of CuAl2O4 formation were resulted during ZrO2 doped. The reason that ZrO2 could improve thermal stability and CO conversion were also discussed.
