Near Infrared Photoacoustic Study of Polyphenylene Sulfide

The crystalline state and the structure of polyphenylene sulfide vary with temperature. By studing this variation with the photoacoustic spectrum （PAS）, we obtain the correspondence between crystallinity and the result of PAS spectrum detection. It is found that PAS is a useful tool for the research on polymer structure relaxation and can be used as a reliable supplementary method for the detection of crystallinity.
