Theory of Bifurcations on PES and its Applications

This review covers research into the bifurcation on potential energy surface (PES) for nearly 20 years. The theory of PES bifurcation and its application have been discussed. The study of the PES bifurcation, which leads to new chemical reactions, breaking syTnmetry, anomal iR absorption and relatation in microwave laser, helps us to recognize the complexity of PES, underStand the laws of reactive dynamics and reconsider the known reaction selective rules. More attention has focused on the static bimrcation of PES, and the dynamic process has not been analyzed.
