Photoionization Stuides of AsH3 Using Synchrotron Radiation

Abstract
The photoioniozation and photodissociative ionization of AsH3 have been investigated under the supersonic beam conditions by using 50~200nm one photon synchrotron radiation and TOF mass spectroscopy techniques.The photoionization efficiency (PIE) curves of all the observed ions from AsH3 molecule are measured and the adiabatic ionization potential (IP) of AsH3+ and the appearance potentials (AP) of AsH2+ and AsH+ from AsH3 were accurately determined,i.e.9.93±0.02eV,12.59±0.04eV and 11.32±0.02eV,respectively.On these basis some therochemical data,such as he standad formation enthalpies (ΔfH00) of the related ions,the bond energies (D0) of the related molecules,radicals or their ions and the proton affinities (PA0) of the related redicals,have been derived.Most of these data are reported for the first time.In addition,the most possible VUV one photon photoioniztion and photodissociative ionization channels of AsH3 are analyzed.
