Study on the Rubbing Surface Chemistry of the Borate as Oil Additive
The wear surface under oil lubrication containing the borate are analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） and the depth profiling XPS.The results show that the mixed protective film formed on the wear surface,which is compound of adsorbents,depositions and tribochemical compounds.Tribochemical compound BN can improve antiwear and reeducating friction properties.
