Effect of the Addition of PdO on Structure and Properties of the CuO/γ-Al2O3 Catalyst

Abstract
The TPR. SEM, XRD stepping sean techniques,CO and CH4 oxidation activity measurement were used to study the structure and properties of CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst loading over PdO. Experimental result shown that the CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst loading over different content PdO makes the TPR peak temperature decrease. Measurement of average crystalline grain size for the camer γ-Al2O3 loading over CuO, also indicated PdO content increase progressively,CuO average crystalline grain change into thin, SEM measurement for Cu element distribution,further confirm PdO content increase, Cu element distribution grow in number and quantity.Thus it can be seen that CuO/γ-Al2O3 catalyst loading over PdO makes CuO average crytalline grain change into thin and causes oxidation activity increase.
