Introduction of Mo into SAPO-5 by Solid State Ion Exchange

Mo was introduced into SAPO-5 by solid state ion exchange method, i.e. by heating the mixture of MoO₃ and SAPO-5 in the atmosphere of N₂ or H₂ containing water vapor. XRD, XPS, FT-IR and back ion exchange study were enganged in the related detection and charaterization. Ion exchange occurs between molybdenyl cations and B acid stes of SAPO-5. The ion exchange speed depends on the atmosphere used.
